COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES
We know that during this time of uncertainty, it is extremely important for us to all do our part in keeping everyone safe. GoodSports USA has put together the following guidelines based on the CDC guidelines. Our facility and staff are well prepared and equipped for all to enjoy a safe and fun Fall/Winter Season.
The following guidelines will be strictly followed:
CHECK-IN – Everyone entering the facility will have their temperature taken by a staff member. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be permitted to enter.
FACE COVERINGS – Face coverings are required while entering and exiting the building. Face masks must be worn at all times unless participating in a program/activity.
CLEANING PROTOCOL – Our cleaning schedules and procedures have been greatly enhanced to maintain a high level of hygiene across all areas.
SANITIZER STATIONS – Hand sanitizer stations will be available for you to use throughout our facility.
LIMITED CAPACITY – To help with social distancing and adhere to state guidelines, we will be operating at a limited capacity. At this time, the following will be enforced:
High School/Adult Leagues – No parents/spectators
Youth leagues/programs – call facility for more information
*Parents, when possible, please drop your child off and remain in your vehicle to decrease the amount of people in the building.
AIR FLOW/FILTRATION – Our facility is supplied a constant flow of fresh air through air circulation systems. All filters are changed prior to the start of the season and maintained regularly. Industrial fans have been installed on each field for additional air circulation.
CREDITS – If GoodSports USA must close, postpone, or cancel any program/league/rental, due to COVID-19, we will do our best to makeup missed programming. If we are unable to makeup what was missed we will apply the necessary credits to participants.
- Do not attend any program if you or someone in your household has a fever or any symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, body aches, loss of taste/smell, sore throat, congestion/runny nose, nausea/vomiting or diarrhea).
- Wash hands before and after playing.
- Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.
