Attention: Youth & High School Coaches,
Welcome to the Summer 2008 season of roller hockey here at Goodsports USA. In order to have a great and successful season here are a few changes that I would like to address to you. I need to go over these polices with you so you may address your team before the start of the season. If you have any suggestions or complaints feel free to contact me with those issues. Here are the Goodsports policies that are now being enforced…..
-ALL LEAGUE FEES HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO TEAM FEES.
-$1200 A TEAM FOR THE SPRING
-YOU MAY CARRY AS MANY PLAYERS AS YOU WANT ON YOUR ROSTER. BUT ANY PLAYER THAT PLAYS IN PLAYOFFS NEEDS TO PLAY IN 3 REGULAR SEASON GAMES
-MULTIPLE TEAMS WILL RECEIVE $100 OFF FOR EVERY ADDITIONAL TEAM.
-ALL COACHES MUST BRING COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE OF ALL PLAYERS ON ROSTER BY FIRST WEEK OF THE SEASON TO SHOW PROOF OF AGE.
-COPIES OF BIRTH CERTIFICATES WILL BE KEPT AT GOODSPORTS FOR FUTURE SEASONS TO COME.
-ALONG WITH BIRTH CERTIFICATES COACHES MUST ALSO PRESENT TEAM & LEAGUE REGISTRATION FORM WITH FULL ROSTER. (HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS DO NOT NEED TO PROVIDE BIRTH CERTIFICATES)
ANY COACHES, PARENTS, OR PLAYERS CAN BE SUBJECT TO SUSPENSIONS AND/OR FINES FOR FIGHTING, VERBAL ABUSE,..ETC

-ALL teams must have matching colored jerseys. Numbers are preferred. No Exceptions. (If you do not have jerseys see the attached flier for Goodsports INC for all you hockey jersey needs.)
-All league fees must be paid by the second regular season game. No Exceptions! Games have the possibility of not being started if teams are not paid in full.
-Rosters will be locked by the 2nd regular season game and no changes will be allowed, unless there has been an approval by the league director. Injuries and goalies have exceptions, but must be approved through director.
-If your team doesn’t have a goalie available you must suit up a player on your roster with our house equipment. You may not play without a goalie or it will result in a forfeit. Any other goalie used must be approved by league director and other team before the start of the game. If other team allows goalie then game will be counted. If opposing team does not allow goalie the game may be played but will result in 8-0 forfeit by team with illegal goalie.
-All players must play in 3 games to be eligible to play in playoffs.
-There is a Zero Tolerance with foul language on or off the rink. This is a family oriented facility and bad language of any sort can result in penalties, suspensions, and/or expulsion.
-Players may not play on two teams in the same age level.
-Any fights and/or misconducts can result in league suspensions and will be decided by league director.
-All parents must be seated in bleachers. No parents are permitted near benches.
-Only one head coach and two assistant coaches are allowed on or near team bench.
-Any team that forfeits a game will have to pay a $40.00 forfeit fee before the start of their next game.( Your ref fee and opposing teams ref fee)
-Once schedules are made there will be no changes at all.
-All requests must be given in prior to the start of the season, and will be honored to the best of our ability but not guaranteed.
-Any damage to Goodsports property will not be tolerated. If there is damage to the property there will be an automatic suspension of the team and you will be responsible for the payment of damage. Especially in locker rooms where coaches must monitor players’ actions.
-Any abuse towards Goodsports officials will not be tolerated. If there is an assault, verbally or physically, towards an official you will be automatically suspended. No exceptions!

12 Under 95 & After------------------cutoff 1/1/08
14 Under 93 & After------------------cutoff 1/1/08
HS-----------------------------------must be in high school
