Goalies
Emphasis on positioning, skating, rebound control, glove side, blocker, side drills, confidence & endurance. Low player to instructor ratio.
Basic Skills
This instructional clinic will introduce hockey to the beginner player. This introductory program will help prospective hockey players to develop an ability to skate and balance themselves while skating. It will also help the hockey player in skills such as speed, accuracy and agility. We will also introduce skills that will be taught more aggressively in the Advanced Skills Instructional such as passing, shooting and moving with & without the puck.
Advanced Skills
The Advanced Skills work on sharpening the skills learned in the Basic Skills Instructional. However, the main focus will be on the development of advanced hockey skills such as, proper techniques for crossover, hockey stop, power turns, backwards crossovers & much more. We will also teach strategy & how to incorporate it with the skills learned in both instructionals. With the skills acquired in this instructional, players should be able to outskate their opponents & advance to the next level of hockey.
