Homeschool Aspiring Artists™ Painting Classes
A Child’s Journey through Art History™
Debra Stasiak, certified teacher, professional artist, mother, and founder of Aspiring Artists will be offering a program called A Child’s Journey through Art History™ to students ages 5-15 at GoodSports USA! Each 8 week session will feature a different art movement in history, and students will be able to learn from these famous artists in order to develop their own artistic talents. The first 6 weeks of each session will focus on recreating and painting famous masterpieces from the particular era featured, and the last 2 weeks of each session will give students the opportunity to paint their own original compositions that display their understanding of the art style and method studied during that particular session. Not only will students learn specific painting techniques, but they will also learn historical facts about the famous artists and their unique contribution to art history. The Tuesday session dates correspond with the GoodSports gym classes! Art classes will meet before, during, and after the gym classes. If you would like to register for art, you may print the art registration form by visiting the art link on this page.
Registration for art is done separately from GoodSports gym classes, so you must print the art registration form and mail to Aspiring Artists directly in order to register. Thank you!
